3D printing creates physical objects layer by layer from a digital design. For special needs students, this technology can make it possible to create customized adaptive tools without relying solely on expensive, commercially available equipment. By using relatively affordable 3D-printing materials and customized digital designs, we can reduce material costs and create equipment that is more accessible to families with limited financial resources.
